The first transnational meeting of the Multi-In project was held on January 25-27 in Trnava. Slaveya Kostadinova from Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus-Bulgaria Association (SBHB) visited Center for Early Intervention Trnava and meet the CVI team. The partners discussed the project work schedule, the distribution of tasks, as well as other topics related to project implementation, management and reporting.
Multi-IN delegation of Slaveya Kostadinova (SBHB), Terezia Drdulova (CVI), Andrej Drdul (CVI), Klara Slovakova (CVI) and Katarina Ondasova (CVI) visited the rehabilitation center Ja Sám in Hlohovec. They met the Ja Sám team and as well as families of children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus from Trnava region and presented the Multi-IN project in front of them. In an informal discussion, the parties shared their challenges in education, access to health and social services, opportunities for sports and social inclusion of children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus from Slovakia and Bulgaria. The conversation showed up many common issues in both countries, but also some differences in the environment that partners will take into account when developing the Multi-IN products: General Guidelines, Manuals and Educational Videos.
Slaveya Kostadinova (SBHB), Terezia Drdulova (CVI) and Katarina Ondasova (CVI) presented the project during a meeting at the Town Hall with the Head of social services department in Trnava.
During the evening program, they met Dr. František Horn and Dominik Drdul. Dr. Horn is a neurosurgeon at Kramare Children’s Hospital in Bratislava, a board member of the Slovak Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association and a board member of the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and Dominik is a young MP, an active member Slovak Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
